Manager - Identity and Access Management - Cyber Security The opportunityAs a Manager in EY's Cyber Security consulting team, you will play a hands on IAM engineering role, designing, configuring, integrating, testing and supporting Identity and Access Management solutions for major clients. While the internal role title aligns to EY's Manager structure, the day to day focus is technical delivery. We are looking for someone who can do more than understand the products, they need to be able to design and implement integrations, configure connectors, onboard applications and troubleshoot complex identity issues across SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, SailPoint IdentityIQ, Microsoft Entra ID and CyberArk. You will help client's uplift identity governance, access lifecycle, access request, provisioning and privileged access capabilities across complex enterprise environments.
Your key responsibilities- Design, configure, implement, test and deploy IAM solutions, with a primary focus on SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and related identity governance capabilities.
- Implement identity lifecycle processes, including joiner, mover and leaver workflows, access request, approval and provisioning processes.
- Design, configure and test SailPoint connectors and integrations, including application onboarding, entitlement models, access profiles, roles, policies, certifications and provisioning flows.
- Assess application integration patterns and work with client teams to determine how applications should be onboarded, connected, tested and supported through the IAM platform.
- Build, test and troubleshoot IAM integrations across connected systems, including connector errors, data mapping issues, provisioning failures, access request defects and reconciliation issues.
- Work with client technology, security, HR and application teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot integration issues and deliver practical technical outcomes.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, test scripts and deployment artefacts to support repeatable delivery and operational handover.
- Hands on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud is the most important requirement for this role, including designing, configuring, implementing and testing application onboarding, connectors, lifecycle workflows, access requests, provisioning and certifications.
- Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ is highly valued, including workflow design, rules, connectors, application onboarding, certifications, roles, policies and integration with enterprise systems.
- Ability to analyse an application, define the integration approach, map identities and entitlements, configure the connector and validate that access request, provisioning, reconciliation and certification processes work end to end.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, including identity lifecycle, groups, enterprise applications, SSO, conditional access or integration with IAM platforms.
- Exposure to CyberArk or other privileged access management technologies, including account onboarding, credential management, session controls or privileged access processes.
Ideally, you'll also have the skills and attributes below. We don't expect every candidate to have deep experience across every platform, but we are looking for someone who is technically strong, hands on and comfortable solving identity engineering problems in complex client environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across identity integrations, connector configuration, provisioning failures, access issues, data quality issues, reconciliation errors and workflow defects.
- Ability to work with consultants, architects and client stakeholders while still staying close to the technical configuration, build and implementation activity.
