General Technician

Quad is seeking General Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shift to support technology-enabled production in a fast-paced marketing operations environment. In this role, you'll set up, monitor, and maintain IT-driven print and digital equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure quality output and uptime. You'll follow standard operating procedures, document issues, and escalate technical problems as needed. Working closely with supervisors and cross-functional teams, you'll support continuous improvement, safety, and housekeeping while learning new systems and technologies for ongoing career growth at Quad.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor technology-enabled production equipment on 2nd and 3rd shifts
• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on IT-driven print and digital systems
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to ensure reliable, safe operations
• Inspect output for quality, making adjustments to meet specifications and performance targets
• Document production data, equipment issues, and maintenance activities accurately
• Escalate complex technical problems to senior technicians or IT support teams
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and goals

• S, and housekeeping standards in the production area
• Learn and adopt new systems, software, and equipment as Quad's technology evolves
