CDN Platform Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CDN Platform Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support enterprise Content Delivery Network platforms across a global environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree – Required
• 5+ years of enterprise CDN experience
• Hands-on experience with Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, or Google Cloud CDN
• Strong knowledge of DNS, GTM, CNAME, HTTP/2, HTTP/3, TLS/SSL, caching, and edge computing
• Experience with multi-CDN environments
• Strong Terraform and Ansible automation experience
• Experience with WAF and Bot Management
• Development experience with React and Python (FastAPI/Flask) or Java
• Experience building APIs and self-service platforms, preferably Backstage
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Tekton, and GitOps
• Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or Grafana

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud Platform experience including Cloud Run, GKE/OpenShift, and Transcoder API
• Adobe AEM/AEMaaCS CDN integration
• Apigee, OpenAPI, and API security
• Experience with global CDN migrations, production RCA, monitoring, and SLO/SLA management
• Enterprise CDN architecture or CDN Center of Excellence experience

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage enterprise multi-CDN platforms
• Automate CDN provisioning and configuration using Terraform/Ansible
• Build self-service CDN capabilities and developer portal integrations
• Lead CDN migrations, optimization, troubleshooting, and production RCA
• Implement monitoring, alerting, security, and reliability standards
• Partner with application, network, and security teams
• Develop documentation and mentor engineering teams
