Job Summary
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with strong project management and Agile experience who is technically sound in AWS Cloud, Microservices, and APIs. The ideal candidate should be able to work closely with technical teams, understand complex technology concepts, drive project execution, and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end technology projects from initiation through delivery.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Manage project plans, dependencies, risks, issues, and overall delivery.
- Work closely with engineering, architecture, product, DevOps, and business teams.
- Drive Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Track project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and technical blockers.
- Communicate project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation.
- Understand technical architecture and effectively communicate with engineering teams.
- Support planning and delivery of cloud-based applications and services.
- Work with teams developing and deploying applications using AWS Cloud, Microservices, and APIs.
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive-level updates.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and delivery processes.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Technical Project Management / IT Project Management.
- Strong experience managing technology/software development projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong technical understanding of:
- AWS Cloud
- Microservices Architecture
- REST APIs / API-based integrations
- Ability to understand technical discussions, architecture, dependencies, and implementation challenges.
- Strong experience working with engineering and technical teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in AWS-based application modernization or cloud migration projects.
- Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, containers, and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with API platforms and distributed/ microservices- based applications.
- Experience in the financial services, insurance, or banking domain is a plus.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master certification is preferred.
