Description

SAIC is seeking a top-notch Facilities Project Manager to support large-scale, high-visibility infrastructure construction projects critical to the customer's mission. This versatile project manager role will focus on providing the project and programmatic management expertise for the coordination, planning, management, and prioritization of design projects for the Client, ranging in value from $1M to $25M or more.

This role acts as a liaison among clients, stakeholders, O&M support, customers, and the architectural/engineering contractor regarding requirements, technical accuracy, priorities, and project execution. As the Design Project Manager, you will oversee design and study tasks for the Client.

This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and is in Chantilly, VA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison, responsible for reporting to and coordinating with U.S. government representatives at various levels to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
  • Guarantee that all deliverables are completed on schedule, meet specified quality standards, and remain within budget constraints.
  • Manage and maintain document control systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date project records.
  • Advocate for and justify budget allocations and project prioritization to support organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver essential contract documentation, including Statements of Work, cost and schedule estimates, as well as status reports.
  • Input and update project management data in the client's designated system of record to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Analyze organizational processes and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Enhance design concepts by leveraging knowledge, conducting research, and applying advanced technical and visualization skills.
  • Conduct reviews of construction submittals to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Participate in site visits and work closely with project and construction managers throughout the construction phase to uphold design intent, maintain quality control, address technical challenges, and respond to submittals.


Qualifications

Qualifications - External
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to be considered for this role.
  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience in the IC, DoD or 7+ years in the commercial sector.
  • Knowledge of facility operations & maintenance activities and procedures.
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local building and safety codes.
  • Engineer-in-Training.


Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in business or engineering.
  • Experience with Data Centers.
  • Experience with medium voltage.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (any State).
  • Experience with automation and controls through concept planning, configuration and development.
