Pay Rate Range: $64.4/hr. - 105.85/hr. on W2
 
Here’s What You’ll Do 
Responsibilities:
  • You will develop and maintain API’s for multiple lines of business within an efficient Agile SDLC and act as an advocate for the API Management platform. You will work cross-functionally with Architects, Engineers, Business Analysts, and Service Managers across multiple teams in a rapidly evolving environment. You will partner with and enable business app developers to evangelize the use of SOA best practices by focusing on scalability, maintainability, and reuse. The high-level goal of this position is to accelerate customer adoption and increase customer engagement of the API Management Platform.
 
  • To be successful in this role, you must have stellar leadership and communication skills, with an excellent software development background in SOA environments developing services and thrive working cross functionally with several teams. You will need to learn complex businesses very quickly and manage competing business priorities. This is a great opportunity to showcase and enhance your Microservices and API development skills and simultaneously gain intimate knowledge of Federal Reserve Bank products and services.
 
Work hours: Mostly normal hours but may need to work a rotation based on business needs
Length of contract: will run from start date until 12/31/2027
Work status: s are acceptable for this role
Background Check: Peraton Moderate (this can take an estimate of 8 weeks)
Work Location Preference: 1st option is SF, then Remote
Industry preference: Very nice to have someone familiar with Financial Industry but open to other industries as well
 
The Interview Process: There will be 2-3 rounds of interviews
1st round is a screening with the hiring manager and will include a developer (Due to this, there are no pre-screening questions from the hiring team being provided)
2nd round is a panel interview-candidates who are local to San Francisco, CA, or Salt Lake City, UT moving to this interview, will have their panel interview in-person in SF or SLC. (Interviewers will include Audit developers & Product team folks)

Qualifications:
  • The Infrastructure, Platforms & Operations portfolio supports the strategic direction and product delivery for System IT infrastructure and operations, as well as the alignment of technology to business strategies. The team serves as the business partner for secure and reliable IT products, services, and operations.
 
Must haves:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience programming, analysis, design, development implementation, quality assurance, and applications support.
• Practical experience and knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices, and API Gateways, with at least one of the following technologies: 3Scale, Mulesoft, Apigee Edge, CA Technologies, Tibco Mashery, Axway, and IBM Gateway.
