Sika is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanics to join its growing team in the Canton, MA area for our Roofing business. Currently looking for all shifts. Differential pay (10% for 12 hour day shift and 20% for 12 hour night shift)

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for general facility maintenance on their shift and will report directly to the maintenance Manager. 

  • General office and manufacturing maintenance
  • Lubrication / oil changing of heavy production machinery
  • Repair / replace bearings, gear-heads, belts, chains, conveyors, filters, etc.
  • Modify existing structural components to comply with safety regulations, cost savings measures as required
  • Perform all duties while maintaining high quality with every day thoughts for Environment, Health & Safety
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager
  • High School Degree
  • 5 + years of experience industrial mechanical experience in a production environment
  • Prior forklift certification a plus
  • Familiarity with environmental, health & safety regulations
  • Must possess good mechanical aptitude and be able to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic cylinders and controls
  • Extrusion and sheet line experience a plus
