QA Automation Engineer

IDR is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Dallas, TX.
Position Overview for the QA Automation Engineer:
The role combines test automation with manual/exploratory testing, requiring close collaboration with Engineering and Product teams to validate new features, identify defects, maintain test coverage, and support reliable production releases. This position is suited for someone who can work independently on moderately complex testing initiatives while continuously improving QA processes and tools.
Requirements for the QA Automation Engineer:

• 4+ years of QA experience developing, maintaining, and executing automated test suites and/or automation frameworks
• 3+ years of Automation experience using Playwright and Typescript
• 3+ years of experience with Defect Management and QA Reporting
• Strong experience performing functional, regression, exploratory, and manual testing and creating test plans, test cases, test suites, and defining test coverage
• Prior experience working with Engineering/Product teams to understand requirements and validate features
