Service Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Trained Service Engineer to join a growing Service Team with a market-leading manufacturer of high-speed industrial doors.

The Role

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs
• Attending reactive service and repair jobs across the Southern UK
• Completing all required paperwork and documentation
• Keeping accurate job records
• Working closely with customers and the service team
• Staying on site until the job is completed
• Working on a shift rotation:
  • Tuesday Saturday
  • Sunday Thursday

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A full UK driving licence
• A positive, practical and can-do attitude
• The ability to work independently and solve problems
• A willingness to stay on site and complete the job to a high standard
• Good communication and customer service skills

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

The following would be advantageous, but are not essential:

• Previous experience in a similar Service Engineer role
• Industrial engineering experience
• Mechanical or workshop experience
• Experience working with control panels
• Electrical testing experience
• Electrical or Mechanical qualifications
• IPAF Licence

Salary: Circa £28,000 per annum dependent on experience
