Senior Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) Engineer - Manchester - 5 days a week onsite

55,000 - 62,000

We are seeking an experienced Senior Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) Engineer to join a growing cybersecurity function. This role will be responsible for the administration, optimisation, and support of enterprise Endpoint Privilege Management solutions, ensuring secure access controls across Windows environments while maintaining a seamless user experience. The successful candidate will have strong experience in Endpoint Privilege Management, policy administration, application control, and Windows endpoint security. Experience with BeyondTrust EPM is highly desirable; however, candidates with strong CyberArk EPM experience are equally encouraged to apply, as product-specific training can be provided. The key requirement is proven expertise in privilege management and endpoint security within a large-scale enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) solutions across the organisation.
  • Create, implement, and optimise EPM policies in line with security and operational requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve EPM-related incidents, policy issues, and application access challenges.
  • Manage application control and privilege elevation policies to ensure secure and compliant access.
  • Support the onboarding, testing, and deployment of new applications requiring privileged access.
  • Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and End User Computing teams to improve endpoint security posture.
  • Analyse and investigate security events related to privileged access and application execution.
  • Ensure endpoint security controls align with business requirements whilst minimising user disruption.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the evolution of endpoint security standards and processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders on EPM best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience working with Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) solutions.
  • Strong experience administering and troubleshooting EPM policies.
  • Hands-on experience with Application Control and privilege elevation technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Windows Endpoint Architecture and security principles.
  • Experience investigating and resolving endpoint security and access-related issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
