Data Modeler with ACORD Framework and Insurance Domain Remote

• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for insurance applications.

• Implement and align enterprise data models with the ACORD Information Model and ACORD standards.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable data models.

• Analyze insurance data related to Policy, Claims, Billing, Underwriting, Reinsurance, and Customer domains.

• Develop data mapping, transformation rules, and metadata documentation.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency, and governance across enterprise platforms.

• Support data migration, integration, and modernization initiatives.

• Optimize database structures for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Participate in data architecture reviews and establish modeling best practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Modeling and Data Architecture.

• Strong hands-on experience with the ACORD Framework / ACORD Information Model.

• Extensive experience in the Insurance domain (Property & Casualty, Life, or Health Insurance).

• Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.

• Experience with ER modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, IBM InfoSphere Data Architect, or similar.

• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar.

• Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.

• Experience with ETL/Data Integration tools is preferred.

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
