DBA Administration/SKillset will include

  • DB2 UTS Conversion Strategies
  • Requirements, Limitations, Enhancements
  • DB2 v12
  • DB2 Catalog Tables
  • DB2 Performance Tunning, Explain and Plan Tables, Plan vs Packages
  • DB2 Partition Rotation Architecture
  • Understanding of DDL, DML & CML
  • Understanding DB2 PRIMARY OPTION MENU
  • SPUFI, DCLGEN, PROGRAM PREPARATION, PRECOMPILE, BIND/REBIND/FREE, RUN, DB2 COMMANDS, UTILITIES, DB2I DEFAULTS
  • DB2 Commands
  • Display, Cancel Threads, Term Utility, Start/Stop, etc
  • DB2 IBM Tool sets DB2 Administration Menu
  • DB2 Utilities
  • UNLOAD/LOAD, IMAGE COPY, RUNSTATS, REORGS, RECOVER, CHECK Data/Index, REPAIR, STOSPACE, DSNCOPY
  • DB2 Logs

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the integrity of the data of the organization, while facilitating Business developments and innovations through deploys and user provisioning.
  • Focus on detailed data problems and come up with creative and efficient solutions.
