This employer is seeking a Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer to join their Enterprise Finance Technology team. This role is pivotal in designing and optimizing data architecture and applications to drive strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will blend deep data engineering expertise with strong business intelligence capabilities to ensure data is accessible, trusted, and actionable.

The Role

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Snowflake, AWS, dbt, and/or Informatica.
• Ensure data integrity through automated quality checks, regression testing, and validation frameworks.
• Independently manage and deliver small to medium-sized projects, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
• Support dashboard and reporting development using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to deliver KPI insights.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, data validation, and analysis workflows.
• Stay current on new data technologies and best practices, contributing to design standards.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, business intelligence, and/or enterprise analytics.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with data integration tools.
• Strong working experience with data modeling, data access, schemas, and data storage techniques within Snowflake.
• Experience in design, development, and implementation of scalable data pipelines in cloud environments (AWS, Snowflake).
• Experience with ETL/ELT patterns, data warehousing concepts, and data orchestration tools.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
