Job Description

Job Title: Ping MFA & SSO Engineer

Location: Houston, TX

Job Overview

We are seeking a Ping MFA & SSO Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Ping Identity solutions, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Single Sign-On (SSO). The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, integrating, and supporting secure authentication and identity solutions across enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and support Ping Identity solutions for MFA and SSO.
  • Implement and manage PingFederate, PingAccess, PingID, and PingDirectory.
  • Configure and troubleshoot SSO integrations using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
  • Configure and manage MFA policies, authentication flows, and adaptive authentication.
  • Integrate Ping solutions with enterprise applications, cloud applications, and APIs.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, federation, and SSO issues.
  • Manage user authentication, access policies, certificates, and keys.
  • Work with Active Directory/LDAP and other identity repositories.
  • Support application onboarding and SSO integrations.
  • Monitor authentication services and investigate authentication failures and security events.
  • Participate in upgrades, migrations, deployments, and production support.
  • Work with security and infrastructure teams to implement Zero Trust and identity security solutions.
  • Create technical documentation, configuration guides, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Ping Identity / PingOne.
  • Experience with PingFederate, PingID, PingAccess, and/or PingDirectory.
  • Strong knowledge of MFA and SSO.
  • Experience with SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC.
  • Experience integrating applications with SSO and MFA.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, certificates, and PKI.
  • Experience with authentication and authorization concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with REST APIs and identity integrations.
  • Understanding of IAM, CIAM, Zero Trust, and identity security.

Experience

  • 5+ years of IAM/Identity experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Ping Identity experience.
  • Strong experience in enterprise MFA and SSO implementation/support.
