Job description

Senior BASE24-eps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior BASE24-eps Engineer with a minimum of 5+ years' hands-on ACI BASE24-eps experience to work within a high-volume banking and payments environment.

You will support, troubleshoot and maintain a business-critical BASE24-eps environment while also developing, customising and enhancing payment functionality.

Key responsibilities:

Provide hands-on L2/L3 production support for BASE24-eps
Investigate and resolve payment transaction failures and production incidents
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
Develop, customise, configure and enhance BASE24-eps
Support ATM, POS, EFT and card payment processing
Troubleshoot authorisation, routing, switching, settlement and reconciliation
Support interfaces with Visa, Mastercard, payment networks and host banking systems
Monitor system health, performance and transaction processing
Support releases, deployments, upgrades and payment scheme changes
Participate in testing and implementation of BASE24-eps enhancements
Support high availability, DR and failover activities
Work within a 24x7 production support environment
Work closely with development, infrastructure, QA and payments teams
