Job Description
IGS are looking for a number of CHIS handlers to support an ongoing and developing project in London.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 09:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00
Day rate: £400 per day PAYE
Working arrangements: On site in London 3-4 days per week, with potential to work from home one day per week where circumstances allow.

Key responsibilities
- Meet with informants across London and where required, the surrounding Home Counties.
- Work collaboratively within a team of CHIS Handlers across London.
- Support the development of intelligence in line with operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and apply appropriate professional standards when handling sensitive information.
- Operate in accordance with RIPA and relevant codes of practice.
- Qualified CHIS Handler to UK National Standards.
- CHIS credentials used within the last 12 months.
- Expert understanding of RIPA and relevant codes of practice.
- Current SC clearance. (we can help with this if required).
- Must have come from UK Law Enforcement.
- Ability to work on site in London for 3-4 days per week.
- Understanding of financial crime would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Laptop, ID pass and secure phone provided.
- Travel required for job purposes will be paid. Travel to and from the office is not covered.
