Civil Engineering Summer Intern

Zachry’s Summer Engineering Internship Program gives university students hands‑on exposure to engineering in an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) environment. Interns work directly with experienced engineers, designers, and project teams who develop solutions for complex industrial facilities, including power generation, refining, chemicals, manufacturing, and major industrial infrastructure.

Interns will support active engineering and construction projects while gaining exposure to field operations, design coordination, and project execution workflows. This program is designed to help students explore their discipline in a real project environment and begin building their professional engineering identity.

At Zachry Group, our civil and structural engineers are foundational to every major project—designing the infrastructure, foundations, and structural systems that ensure industrial facilities are safe, resilient, and built to last.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What You’ll Gain

• Hands‑on experience supporting large‑scale civil and structural design for utility and industrial projects
• Exposure to how civil engineering integrates with construction sequencing and site operations
• Mentorship from experienced civil and structural engineers involved in the full project lifecycle

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Interest in leadership & personal development opportunities
