Job Description:

• Design and implement scalable, highly available Google Cloud Platform architectures across compute, networking, storage, and data services to support enterprise-scale healthcare workloads
• Lead cloud infrastructure strategy and roadmap, translating business and clinical requirements into technical architecture decisions aligned with cost, performance, and compliance objectives
• Define and enforce cloud security controls, IAM governance, VPC design, and data protection standards in alignment with HIPAA, HITRUST, and FedRAMP requirements
• Drive adoption of infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform and Cloud Deployment Manager, establishing reusable patterns and guardrails for platform engineering teams
• Partner with application, data, and security teams to architect multi-region solutions for high-availability workloads, disaster recovery, and regulated data handling
• Evaluate and guide migration of legacy on-premises systems to Google Cloud Platform, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and cloud-native transformation paths
• Establish observability standards across logging, monitoring, and alerting using Cloud Operations Suite, and define SLOs for critical platform services
• Mentor and provide technical direction to platform engineering teams, conduct architecture reviews, and maintain documentation standards for cloud design decisions
