Contract Specialist

Avion Solutions Inc., a 100% employee-owned company, seeks candidates for a Contract Specialist to support PAE Fires. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Assist in the development and coordination of Contracts Requirements Packages (CRP).

• Assist senior management with contracting strategy development.

• Work with the customer through numerous contracting activities in parallel in a dynamic environment.

Required Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a financial field.

• 3 to 10 yrs of applicable contracting-type experience through DoD programs are desired.

• Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoW security clearance.

• Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time. US travel only.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Independent thinker and self-starter, with solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task and support varied assignments.

• Good oral and written communication skills.
