Sr. Security Engineer (Trellix) with Security Clearance

On-site in Washington, DC As a Sr. Security Engineer (Trellix), you will serve as the technical lead for our client's endpoint security and data protection solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced security controls to protect critical assets and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of endpoint security solutions using Trellix technologies
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to protect client data
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks
• Implement and manage advanced threat detection and response capabilities
• Collaborate with client IT and security teams to integrate security solutions
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior security engineers
• Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on endpoint security
• Experience with Trellix products and technologies
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC
• Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with DevSecOps practices
