Sr. Security Engineer (Trellix) with Security Clearance

Description

On-site in Washington, DC As a Sr. Security Engineer (Trellix), you will serve as the technical lead for our client's endpoint security and data protection solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced security controls to protect critical assets and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of endpoint security solutions using Trellix technologies
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks
• Implement and manage advanced threat protection solutions
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and provide tailored solutions
• Stay current with emerging security threats and trends
• Mentor and guide junior security engineers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on endpoint security
• Experience with Trellix products and technologies
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
• Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
