ETL/Informatica Developer

Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Technology Engineer to join our Broker Commissions Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Extract Transform, Load (ETL) development bringing innovative and problem solving thought leadership.

This role is responsible for developing and supporting technology solutions to advance the Commissions business domains utilizing technologies such as Informatica, SQL, vendor integrations and data modeling. The IT Engineer IV will work with a team of developers and interact closely with business subject matter experts to design and build solutions that help Medica sell their products. 

This Commissions Tech team is focused on building solutions to support Medica’s business domains around commissions payment processing utilizing SAP’s product Agent Performance Management (APM), Informatica, SQL, and file transfers.

•            10 years of hands-on experience developing and supporting Informatica PowerCenter ETL solutions.

•            Strong experience with Oracle Database, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.

•            Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development.

•            Experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex ETL workflows, mappings, sessions, and workflows in Informatica.

•            Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data integration, and data transformation processes.

•            Experience troubleshooting ETL failures, data quality issues, and production support incidents.

•            Experience creating and maintaining batch jobs using Automic (UC4) or similar enterprise job scheduling tools.

•            Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical ETL solutions.

•            Experience working with large datasets and high-volume data processing environments.

•            Knowledge of data validation, reconciliation, and migration methodologies.

•            Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies.

•            Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

•            Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.

•            Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira (or Apptio), and DevOps processes.

•            Experience in healthcare, insurance, commissions, or financial services domain is a plus.

•            Experience with ETL test automation tools such as QuerySurge for data validation, reconciliation, and regression testing is a plus.
