About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect to lead enterprise architecture and modernization initiatives for a strategic P&C insurance engagement.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Property & Casualty insurance, enterprise solution architecture, .NET microservices, Azure cloud, and modern integration patterns. This role involves driving Forms Modernization, Data Platforms, Legacy System Transformation, and AI-driven initiatives while engaging directly with senior client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end enterprise and solution architecture across multiple strategic programs.
• Drive P&C insurance modernization initiatives across Policy, Billing, Claims, and document generation.
• Design cloud-native and microservices-based solutions using .NET and Azure.
• Define API-led, REST-based, messaging, and event-driven integration architectures.
• Guide modernization of legacy AS/400 and Visual Basic-based systems.
• Support data platforms, Snowflake, ETL/ELT pipelines, RAG, and AI-driven automation.
• Lead architecture reviews, design governance, and technology roadmaps.
• Engage with Directors, AVPs, CIO-level stakeholders, and distributed engineering teams.
• Mentor technical teams and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable architecture.

Must-Have Skills

✅ 15+ years of software engineering and architecture experience
✅ Strong P&C insurance domain expertise – Policy, Billing, and Claims
✅ Enterprise Solution Architecture and Distributed Systems
✅ .NET, Microservices, and Azure Cloud Architecture
✅ API Design, REST APIs, Messaging, and Integration Architecture
✅ Legacy Modernization and Enterprise Application Integration
✅ Data Platforms and AI/ML Solution Architecture
✅ Excellent executive communication and client-facing leadership skills

• GhostDraft or similar CCM/document generation platforms
• Coherent or equivalent business rules engines
• Duck Creek or other policy administration systems
• Snowflake, RAG, and Document Intelligence
• ServiceNow CMDB and DevSecOps
• Onshore/offshore delivery experience
