We are looking for a Sr. Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform, PySpark, Scala, and Big Data technologies to join a high-impact data engineering team.

🔥 MUST-HAVE SKILLS

✅ 6+ years of Data Engineering experience
✅ 5+ years of Google Cloud Platform experience
✅ 5+ years of PySpark experience
✅ 5+ years of Scala experience
✅ Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform Dataproc, GCS & BigQuery
✅ Apache Spark / Hadoop / Hive
✅ Apache Airflow
✅ Apache Kafka
✅ Data Lake / Data Warehouse / Data Modeling
✅ Large-scale TB/PB data processing

💻 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop scalable big data applications using modern open-source technologies.
• Build and maintain high-volume data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop logical and physical data models for big data platforms.
• Automate workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Develop solutions using Spark, Hive, Kafka and Dataproc.
• Provide production support, maintenance and enhancements.
• Participate in rotational on-call support.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design reviews.
• Lead daily standups and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Groom and prioritize backlog using JIRA.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and serve as a technical point of contact for the assigned domain.
