AWS Cloud Engineer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an AWS Cloud Engineer.

Position Type:   Full-Time, Contract
Duration:           6+ months
Location:            Maryland Heights, MO 63043 (Hybrid)
Schedule:           4 days onsite, 1 day remote

As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will:

• Proactively monitor cloud operational costs, implement AWS resource tagging strategies, and propose continuous infrastructure improvements
• Architect and maintain platform monitoring solutions, specifically driving migrations and refining alerting logic to minimize noise
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines. Coordinating release activities
• Hands-on experience managing and scaling Kubernetes workloads and containerized infrastructure
• Ongoing support during hot-fixes, patches, and correcting configuration issues

• AWS cloud production support experience.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including S3, EC2, and VPC.
• Expertise with Terraform for AWS infrastructure management.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience supporting code deployments, hotfixes, patches, and configuration fixes.
• Experience automating infrastructure and application delivery using SDLC principles.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
