Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of carbon graphite products
• Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer specifications
• Document inspection results accurately using quality records, reports, and checklists
• Identify and report non-conformances; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Work closely with production and engineering to resolve quality issues
• Support calibration of inspection tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and comply with safety and quality policies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. An associate degree in quality, manufacturing technology, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong understanding of mechanical inspection methods
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient in the use of inspection tools and gauges
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems a plus
