Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP APO Techno-Functional Lead Consultant to support a manufacturing client in stabilizing and optimizing their existing SAP APO environment while preparing for an SAP S/4HANA transformation. This client-facing role requires a hands-on expert with strong technical and functional expertise in SAP APO who can quickly assess issues, implement practical solutions, and help define the future-state architecture.
Description:

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex SAP APO issues in a pre-S/4HANA manufacturing environment.
• Lead solution design and configuration for SAP APO Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), and Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS).
• Provide both technical and functional expertise to improve planning and supply chain processes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
• Support SAP S/4HANA migration planning and help define the transition strategy to SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
• Facilitate client workshops, proof-of-concept (POC) sessions, and solution design discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution delivery and knowledge transfer.
• Provide architectural guidance and best practices for supply chain planning solutions.

Requirements:

• SAP APO consulting experience with strong techno-functional expertise.
• Deep hands-on experience with: SAP APO Demand Planning (DP), SAP APO Supply Network Planning (SNP) and SAP APO Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)
• Experience supporting manufacturing and supply chain planning processes.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) migration strategies.
• Experience leading client workshops, solution design sessions, and Proof of Concept (POC) engagements.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and solution architecture skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment.
