Project Manager

A leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to work on Water Projectsto join their team in Twickenham.

Responsibilities of Project Manager:

• Produce financial forecasts, monitor and control project costs, and deliver monthly performance reports
• Deliver projects from design phase through to completion, including all handover documentation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, framework suppliers, and design consultants
• Develop and maintain construction programmes, coordinating site investigations throughout
• Ensure production of Project Plans, risk assessments, method statements, and procurement processes
• Maintain commercial tension, prepare estimates for additional works, and support new tender submissions
• Set the highest standards of HS&E leadership, ensuring compliance with procedures, legal obligations, and subcontractor compliance
• Liaise with third parties to ensure compliance with HSG47, HAUC, NRSWA, Chapter 8, and other regulatory standards
• Manage and produce ITPs, maintain the QA File, and ensure as-builts and O&M manuals are submitted on completion

Essential Requirements for Project Manager:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Manager within a Tier 1 self-delivery contractor
• Proven technical, commercial, and scheduling skills across clean and foul water projects
• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• CSCS Manager's Card, SMSTS, and NEBOSH Construction Certificate
• Good working knowledge of CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme & Risk Management, and cost control
• Knowledge of NEC contract including Early Warning and Compensation Event mechanisms
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or equivalent
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
