Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, monitor, and maintain security solutions that protect enterprise systems, applications, networks, and data. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in security operations, threat detection, vulnerability management, cloud security, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze security events, alerts, and potential threats.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and maintain security controls across applications, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
  • Configure and manage SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and security monitoring tools.
  • Develop security policies, procedures, standards, and technical documentation.
  • Perform threat hunting and analyze indicators of compromise (IOCs).
  • Support security incident response, root-cause analysis, and remediation.
  • Work with infrastructure, application, DevOps, and cloud teams to improve security posture.
  • Implement security best practices for AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
  • Assist with security audits, compliance requirements, and risk assessments.
  • Automate security processes using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Experience with tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Defender for Endpoint, Palo Alto, or Fortinet.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, firewalls, and network security.
  • Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of IAM, MFA, SSO, Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD, and privileged access management.
  • Understanding of NIST, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or ISO 27001.
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Tenable/Nessus, or Rapid7.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Education:
