Job Description

Job Title: Senior AI Engineer

 

We are hiring a Senior AI Engineer – New Build Track Lead to lead the development of production-grade AI agents for a strategic Verizon AI transformation initiative. This role requires deep expertise in Google Vertex AI, Agentic AI, MCP, Python, and multi-agent orchestration to build scalable AI solutions for RF tower design automation.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • 3+ years of production experience with LLMs / Agentic AI (No POC-only experience)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Vertex AI (Agent Builder, Gemini, RAG, Embeddings, Evaluation)
  • Experience building and deploying production AI agents on Vertex AI
  • MCP (Model Context Protocol) server design & implementation or equivalent tool-calling framework
  • Multi-agent orchestration, state machines, retries, context persistence
  • Strong Python development with pytest, type checking, and CI/CD

Preferred Skills:

  • Headless/CLI simulation tool integrations
  • LLM-as-Judge or AI validation frameworks
  • Multi-region knowledge retrieval
  • Telecom/RF domain experience
  • ATOLL/FUZE exposure is a plus
  • LangGraph or open-source AI framework contributions
