What we’re looking for

We are seeking an experienced Java developer with deep expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem, hands-on cloud experience, and a strong foundation in modern distributed systems.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with—or a genuine interest in learning—Go and other programming languages, frameworks, and application-development platforms. You should be curious, adaptable, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a technology-agnostic engineering environment.

What you’ll be doing

 • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java microservices and batch applications using Spring Boot.

 • Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.

 • Build and consume secure, reliable, and high-performing RESTful APIs and enterprise services.

 • Implement Kafka producers and consumers and develop event-driven microservices.

 • Contribute in Go and remain open to learning other languages, frameworks, and application-development approaches, including web, mobile, and platform services.

 • Deploy, monitor, and operate cloud-native applications in AWS or comparable cloud environments.

 • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, quality controls, and secure deployment processes.

 • Implement observability, monitoring, and logging to identify and resolve production issues proactively.

 • Write clean, modular, testable, and maintainable code following industry standards.

 • Participate in code reviews and improve software quality, performance, security, and reusable engineering components.

 • Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver enterprise capabilities.

 • Document technical designs, solutions, and operational processes.

 • Participate in agile ceremonies, including planning, estimation, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

 • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and less-experienced engineers.

Qualifications — must haves

 • Java: 4+ or 7+ years of professional software-development experience.

 • Spring ecosystem: 3+ or 5+ years of experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

 • Cloud: 1+ or 2+ years of cloud experience; AWS is strongly preferred.

 • Experience designing and building event-driven microservices, ideally using Kafka.

 • Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

 • Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL.

 • Strong experience with automated testing, CI/CD, debugging, logging, and production support.
