We're looking for a Head Chef to take the lead in the kitchen at The Kings Head in Upton St Leonards.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Head Chef or Kitchen Team Leader ready to step up and take ownership of their own kitchen.

Set in the Gloucestershire countryside, The Kings Head is a characterful village pub with a loyal local customer base, a busy food offer and a spacious beer garden. From pub classics and generous mains to proper Sunday roasts, food is at the heart of what we do.

The opportunity

As Head Chef, you'll take ownership of the kitchen and play a huge part in making The Kings Head a place people want to come back to.

You'll:

• Lead, motivate and develop your kitchen team
• Take ownership of food quality, consistency and presentation
• Keep the kitchen running smoothly through busy services
• Manage food preparation, stock and ordering
• Work closely with the General Manager to deliver a great guest experience
• Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards
• Help develop your team and build their skills and confidence
• Take pride in your kitchen and make it your own

We're open to hearing from experienced Kitchen Team Leaders who are ready to step up into their first Head Chef role, as well as established Sous Chefs and Head Chefs.

You might already be leading a kitchen and looking for the opportunity to take full ownership, or you could be ready to move from Team Leader into a bigger challenge.
