IT Sr Consultant 5 – Full Stack & Kubernetes Engineering with Security Clearance

The Information Technology Senior Consultant Level 5 serves as a highly specialized technical expert responsible for designing, developing, and leading the implementation of advanced software and systems solutions. This role manages complex IT projects, provides expert guidance on cutting edge technologies, and performs in depth analysis to support critical government-defined initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems, including processing intensive analytics, large scale data manipulation, real time systems, and business information applications, based on documented requirements.
• Review, test, and validate software components to ensure compliance with design specifications; document and communicate test results.
• Apply software development and design methodologies appropriate to the project environment.
• Contribute to system-level design by evaluating hardware/software trade-offs, recommending software reuse strategies, integrating COTS/GOTS solutions, and conducting requirements analysis from overall system architecture to individual components.
• Provide Help Desk support, including ticket handling and resolution, utilizing Jira.
• Serve as a consultant in highly specialized, emerging technologies; deliver expert guidance and automated solutions for complex information-processing challenges.
• Conduct detailed analyses and studies, prepare comprehensive reports, and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
• Manage project work as defined by the government, leading medium to large complex projects and major phases of enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Provide highly technical and specialized solutions to complex IT issues and project obstacles. Minimum Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (must already be held)
• High School Diploma/GED with 20 years of relevant experience
• Associate’s Degree with 15 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of relevant experience Required Technical Skills
• Proficiency with React and JavaScript
• Proficiency with Git/GitLab; foundational experience with CI/CD
• Experience using Helm, Kubectl, and Kubernetes
• Experience with Docker Preferred Skills
• Experience with Flux/FluxCD
• Experience with OAuth2 Proxy
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
