Game Night Staff: Group Sales (Part-Time/Seasonal)

Position Overview: This part-time Group Sales Game Night Staff position is responsible for supporting the Wizards Group Sales Department by providing world-class customer service and hospitality to group outings and all fans entering Capital One Arena.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the distribution of gift with purchase items on special Theme Nights.
• Support the execution of group Fan Experiences before, during, and after the game.
• Provide excellent customer service to Wizards group outing guests and all fans in attendance.
• Complete pre-game set-up and post-game breakdown of all Group Sales locations and game day initiatives.
• Maintain a solid understanding of stadium and department policies and procedures to effectively assist with general questions.
• Exhibit a fun, friendly, fan service focus and professional appearance at all games.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience or currently enrolled in college.
• Previous customer service experience is helpful.
• Organized with the ability to problem solve and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive demeanor with outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills, customer-service oriented, and able to effectively work both independently and on a team.
• Able to easily lift and carry 30 lbs.
• Requires prolonged standing, sitting, walking and stair climbing to access full range of facility.
• Flexibility to work most Wizards home games, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay Rate: $18.40 USD/hour.
