SEN / SEND Tutor | Preston, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are looking for passionate SEND Tutors and Teachers to join an impact-driven community that is dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs. This is an opportunity to work flexibly, creatively, and in a trauma-informed way to make a significant difference.

The Role

• Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils with diverse needs, including MLD, SLD, and PMLD, from KS1 to KS5.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Plan lessons, report on them, and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Identify and support disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.
• Work in person, remotely, or in a hybrid capacity.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating safe learning environments.
• An enhanced DBS check (can be facilitated).
• Right to work in the UK.
