Automation Engineer

The Company

My client is a leading food and beverage business looking for its next Automation Engineer. The exciting opportunity has become available to oversee and manage the Electrical & Automation projects within the manufacturing facility.

This role is based in regional NSW and offers full relocation support.

The Role

Reporting into the Project Manager, the responsibilities of the role include:

1. Delivery of automation work packages across capital projects - typically involves the planning and coordination of defining scopes, objectives and deliverables
2. Capacity to complete the technical investigation on capital projects
3. Oversee process line equipment upgrade including electrical and automation equipment
4. Programming PLCs and Safety PLCs

Your Background

In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

1. Degree qualified
2. 5+ years of relevant industrial experience
3. Must have FMCG, pharmaceuticals or packaging experience or similar
4. Strong experience with SCADA or communication protocols - preference for experience with Allen Bradley PLCs
5. Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
