SLD Tutor | Maidstone, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We're hiring for an impact-driven community organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs. We partner with schools and local authorities to provide tailored educational support and are looking for passionate tutors to join our mission.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Report on lesson progress and provide regular feedback on student development.
• Work with children and young people referred by local authorities and schools.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for young people with diverse learning difficulties, including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, with a preference for Special Educational Needs experience.
• Familiarity teaching Core Subjects (Maths, English, and/or Science).
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
