Role Summary

Harris Health System is seeking an experienced Senior PeopleSoft Developer to

design, build, and deploy multiple high-volume, secure interfaces between our on-

premise PeopleSoft FSCM (Supply Chain Management) 9.2 environment, a third-

party clinical supply-chain data-enrichment platform, and downstream clinical and

integration systems.

This is a hands-on, interface-heavy engagement. The right candidate is a strong

PeopleSoft integration developer who can independently take an interface from design

through go-live — covering both batch and real-time patterns, delta (incremental) and

full data-refresh processing, secure file transport with encryption/decryption, and

modern REST API / OAuth2 integration — while protecting the integrity of delivered

PeopleSoft objects.

Data flow context (no PHI in scope):

GPO / contract & item data → enrichment SaaS platform → PeopleSoft FSCM Item

Master / Inventory → HL7 integration engine (Infor Cloverleaf) → Epic Item File /

OpTime.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, unit-test, and deploy multiple inbound and outbound interfaces between PeopleSoft FSCM and external systems (SaaS data- enrichment platform, clinical/HL7 systems, file-based partners).

· Build interfaces using both batch (scheduled) and real-time / near-real-time integration patterns, selecting the appropriate approach per use case.

· Implement delta / incremental processing (change-data capture, run-control watermarking, net-change logic) as well as full data-refresh loads, with restart ability and reconciliation.

· Develop secure file movement over SFTP / FTP, including PGP/GPG encryption and decryption of inbound and outbound files.

· Build and consume REST APIs following REST standards (proper HTTP verbs, status codes, resource modeling, pagination) and OAuth 2.0 authentication/authorization flows.

· Parse, generate, and transform XML and JSON payloads between PeopleSoft and external endpoints.

· Implement rowset-based processing in PeopleCode and Application Engine for efficient, set-based data handling.

· Design and create custom staging, configuration, and crosswalk tables to support interfaces without modifying or impacting delivered PeopleSoft tables, records, or structures; build and maintain key mapping / crosswalk logic between PeopleSoft keys and external system identifiers.

· Develop Fluid UI pages/components where configuration, monitoring, or exception-handling screens are required.

· Build robust error handling, logging, audit trails, and reconciliation reporting for every interface.

· Produce technical design documents, interface specifications, and runbooks; support SIT, UAT, go-live, and hyper care.

· Coordinate with functional analysts, the integration/HL7 team, the vendor, and InfoSec on secure-transport endpoints and data-handling requirements.

Required PeopleSoft Technical Skills

· Application Designer — expert-level: records, pages, components, menus, Application Engine, File Layout, Component Interface, Application Packages, and PeopleCode.

· Integration Broker — service operations, message definitions, handlers, routings, queues; synchronous and asynchronous messaging; REST and SOAP service operations.

· Application Engine batch programs with rowset-based / set-based

processing, run controls, restart logic, and Process Scheduler.

· File Layout definitions for fixed-width, delimited (CSV), and XML file structures.

· REST API development and consumption following REST standards; OAuth 2.0 token-based authentication.

· XML and JSON generation, parsing, and transformation.

· SFTP / FTP secure file transport; encryption and decryption of files (PGP/GPG) and management of keys/certificates.

· Fluid UI development (Fluid pages, components, and navigation).

· Designing custom tables and objects without impacting delivered structures, and building key-mapping / crosswalk tables and logic.

· SQL (Oracle), PS Query; SQR and nVision exposure a plus.

Supply Chain / Functional Knowledge

· Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft FSCM Inventory and Purchasing / eProcurement modules.

· Item Master management — Item Loader, item setup, units of measure, item categories, manufacturer/vendor item cross-references, par/replenishment data.

· Understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes: requisition-to-PO, receiving, replenishment, item lifecycle.

· Healthcare supply chain experience strongly preferred — familiarity with GHX, GPO/Premier contracting, and item identifiers (GTIN, UDI, HCPCS) is a significant plus.

Integration Pattern Expertise

· Clear command of batch vs. real-time trade-offs and when to apply each.

· Delta / incremental processing vs. full data refresh — design, performance, and reconciliation considerations for high-volume item and contract data.

· Interface error handling, exception management, audit logging, restartability, and reconciliation.

· Performance tuning of high-volume interfaces (millions of rows per cycle).

Required Qualifications

· 8+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft technical development experience, with a strong concentration in interfaces and integrations.

· Demonstrated record of independently delivering multiple PeopleSoft interfaces end-to-end (design → build → test → deploy → support).

· Experience on PeopleSoft FSCM / Supply Chain (Inventory, Purchasing, Item Master).

· Strong People Code, Application Engine, Integration Broker, and File Layout skills.

· Experience with secure integrations: REST APIs, OAuth2, SFTP, and file encryption/decryption.

· Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce clear technical specs and work directly with functional teams, vendors, and security.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

· Healthcare / hospital ERP delivery experience.

· Exposure to Epic (Item File / OpTime / SUP interface), HL7 v2, and integration engines such as Infor Cloverleaf.

· Experience integrating PeopleSoft with third-party SaaS / cloud platforms.

· Familiarity with MOVEit / managed file transfer, MuleSoft/iPaaS, or API gateways.

· PeopleTools 8.6x experience; AIX/Linux environment familiarity.

Environment

· PeopleSoft FSCM & HCM 9.2 (on-premise), PeopleTools 8.62, Oracle Exadata database tier.

· Integration landscape includes Integration Broker, Infor Cloverleaf (HL7),

GHX, Epic, MOVEit, SFTP, and external SaaS endpoints.
