Embedded Software Engineer – Battery Systems

We're looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to develop embedded software for field battery systems, working closely with hardware and product teams on debugging, integration, and deployment.

What you'll do:

• Develop embedded software primarily in C, with some C++ (Golang, Rust a big plus)
• Build user-facing and embedded services for field battery systems
• Work with Python, Go, gRPC, and Protobuf
• Collaborate with hardware and product teams on debugging, integration, and deployment

Core Skills:

• C/C++, Python, Golang (preferred); Golang/Rust are pluses
• gRPC, MQTT, Protobuf, Modbus, CAN
• RTOS — Zephyr OS preferred, or similar
• Embedded Linux
• Board-level bring-up experience; some exposure to board layout/schematics helpful
• Experience in regulated environments (Aerospace, Medical, etc.) ideal
• Familiarity with standards like UL 1998 or ISO 26262 a plus
• Experience with Requirements, Validation, etc. helpful
