Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to guide the technical direction of a cloud-native microservice architecture, streaming platform integrations, and modular front-end frameworks supporting millions of users across a large digital product portfolio. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role working directly with engineering leadership, product teams, DevOps, and development teams to establish architectural patterns that balance scalability, velocity, security, and maintainability across multiple platforms and product lines.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of progressive software engineering experience with 2+ years in architecture roles
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
• Prior experience in media, streaming, or subscription SaaS platforms
• Experience modernizing legacy systems into scalable event-driven microservices
• Strong leadership and communication skills across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
• Passion for mentoring engineers and elevating team technical maturity
• Self-starter comfortable balancing fast delivery timelines with long-term platform strategy

Daily Responsibilities

• Own high-level architecture and design for cloud-native applications across a large digital product portfolio
• Lead design sessions with engineering, product, and leadership to define scalable, resilient, and maintainable solutions
• Define API-first service designs supporting clear separation of concerns between front-end, back-end, and third-party integrations
• Guide teams in modernizing legacy systems into scalable event-driven microservices
• Provide leadership on modular micro-frontend patterns using scalable UI technologies
• Collaborate closely with DevOps on CI/CD and observability strategy
• Ensure security best practices are embedded into architectural design
• Mentor senior engineers and drive technical excellence across the organization
• Stay current with emerging cloud, streaming, and architectural trends
