Location: McLean, VA (Onsite)

Job Summary: Seeking a Jenkins Migration Specialist to assess, plan, and execute the migration of Jenkins CI/CD environments to modern, scalable, and secure platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Jenkins administration, pipeline migration, automation, cloud technologies, and DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess existing Jenkins infrastructure, jobs, plugins, and pipelines.
• Migrate Jenkins controllers, agents, configurations, and pipelines.
• Convert Freestyle jobs to Jenkins Pipelines where required.
• Upgrade Jenkins versions and ensure plugin compatibility.
• Implement Jenkins Configuration as Code (JCasC) and CI/CD best practices.
• Integrate Jenkins with Git, artifact repositories, cloud platforms, and deployment tools.
• Perform testing, validation, troubleshooting, and rollback planning.
• Document migration processes and provide knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins Administration and CI/CD.
• Expertise in Jenkins Pipeline (Declarative/Scripted) and Groovy.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Scripting experience in Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Jenkins upgrades, plugin management, and migration projects.
• Understanding of security, monitoring, and DevOps best practices.
