Location Requirement: Candidates must be local to Baltimore, MD or nearby Maryland areas. No relocation is available for this position

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior QA Engineer to support a major test automation modernization initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca and Playwright, particularly experience migrating existing Tosca automation frameworks/test cases to Playwright.

This role will involve analyzing existing Tosca automation, developing equivalent Playwright automation, improving automation frameworks, and ensuring quality throughout the migration.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of QA / Software Testing experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca
• Proven experience with Tosca-to-Playwright migration
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Strong experience in UI and API testing
• Experience creating and executing automated test scripts
• Strong understanding of test planning, test execution, defect management, and QA processes
• Experience with regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing Tosca automation assets and identify migration requirements
• Migrate and recreate Tosca test cases/workflows using Playwright
• Develop and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks
• Create automated UI and API test scripts
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Troubleshoot automation failures and perform root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, BAs, and other stakeholders
• Participate in test planning, execution, and reporting
• Maintain automation documentation and testing standards
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and automation practices
