Events Sales Manager - B2B Media Crawley Outskirts Hybrid Working

Lloyd Recruitment Services is working with a leading B2B media organisation seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established B2B media sales professional with previous team management experience to join a growing business, manage and develop a sales team and contribute to the continued success of a flagship portfolio.

Previous B2B media sales experience is essential, ideally with international exhibitions sales.

The Role:

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will manage and support the day-to-day activities of the sales team, helping to drive sales performance, develop client relationships and identify new business opportunities.

You will play an important part in supporting the continued growth of the portfolio, working closely with the Sales Director and helping to develop and motivate the team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing, motivating and supporting the development of the sales team.
• Assisting with team management, sales planning and achieving targets.
• Developing new business and growing existing client accounts.
• Selling across exhibitions, sponsorship, advertising and content.
• Building strong relationships with clients and industry contacts.
• Working closely with marketing to maximise commercial opportunities.
• Monitoring sales performance and reporting to the Sales Director.
• Attending industry events, client meetings and overseas exhibitions.

About You

• Previous B2B media sales experience is essential.
• Ideally 1-2+ years' experience managing or supporting a sales team.
• Experience in advertising, exhibitions, sponsorship or B2B publishing.
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Confident developing new business and building client relationships.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and support others.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
