Position Summary

Seeking a hands-on engineer to work with the existing SCV and Vault squad. The role will support the existing proprietary key/value credential system and migrate SCV capabilities to HashiCorp Vault.

Key Responsibilities

·        Maintain, develop, test, support, and enhance applications and services used by the credential platform.

·        Build HashiCorp Vault capabilities that replace features currently supported by SCV.

·        Develop new integrations and plugins and onboard tools into the Brokerage ecosystem.

·        Support non-human credential storage in a manner compliant with relevant IAM policy.

·        Perform development, engineering, operational, automation, and DevOps tasks.

·        Follow architectural standards, product guidelines, and usability design standards.

·        Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills and Experience

·        5+ years of hands-on Golang experience.

·        Strong object-oriented programming concepts and ability to design robust, scalable software solutions.

·        Strong hands-on HashiCorp Vault experience, including authentication backends, secret engines, and plugin development.

·        Experience working with at least one public cloud provider: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

·        Ability to support production applications and troubleshoot technical issues.

·        Understanding of IAM policy, least-privilege access, and secure credential handling.

Preferred Skills

·        Experience migrating features from a legacy secrets or credential platform to HashiCorp Vault.

·        Experience in financial services or another regulated enterprise environment.

·        Experience with incident and vulnerability management processes.
