Project Manager

Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a leading engineering and construction contractor to recruit a Project Manager to join its project team based in Bridgwater at Hinkley Point C.

The Project Manager role offers both permanent and contract opportunities, with a package of up to £75,000 for a permanent Project Manager, or up to £450 per day on a contract basis.

Responsibilities and duties of the Project Manager role Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for:

Managing projects from initial planning through to successful completion<br />Developing and maintaining project programmes, budgets and delivery schedules<br />Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and consultants<br />Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget<br />Managing NEC contract administration and supporting commercial activities<br />Monitoring project performance, quality standards and risk management<br />Building strong relationships with clients and key project stakeholders<br />Producing project reports and providing regular progress updates<br />Supporting resource planning, recruitment and team development<br />Promoting a positive health, safety and quality culture across all project activities Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:

Proven experience delivering construction or infrastructure projects<br />Strong knowledge and practical experience of NEC3 contract administration<br />Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills<br />Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience<br />Experience managing multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors<br />Good understanding of UK Health &amp; Safety legislation within construction<br />Relevant Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is desirable<br />Full UK driving licence<br />Ability to pass BPSS security clearance and Drugs &amp; Alcohol testing<br />Right to live and work in the UK Salary and benefits of the Project Manager role Competitive salary or day rate of up to £75,000 or £450 per day<br />Full-time, Monday-Friday role<br />Additional annual leave with length of service, and birthday leave#LI-GN1 INDNUC Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
