IT Technician job opening in Cameron, Louisiana 

We have direct client located in Cameron, LA that is currently looking to fill an open full-time (PERM) IT Technician position. 

This role will require onsite support and schedule will involve working 7 days on – then have 7 days off.

Position:  IT Technician

Location:  Cameron, Louisiana

 

Role:  The Hiring Manager is requiring candidate that is a Help Desk, Service Desk type resource that has Apple and Windows experience

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide insightful advice and hands-on technical support to employees
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues and offer solutions to get employees up and running again
• Triage requests accordingly to our 3rd party IT provider
• Teach and train employees on new applications or hardware as requested
• Provide support for on-boarding and off-boarding new and departing employees

 

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a help desk support technician in a macOS environment (Ideally, you have been a Genius at an Apple Store)
• Certification in Apple products and devices preferred
• A blend of Mac and Microsoft support skills desired
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Success in team environments, demonstrating shared responsibility and accountability with other team members
• Comprehensive understanding of operating systems, including macOS and Windows

     

Once again, this is a 100% fully onsite position.
