Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

Develop and customize software applications and data-processing components using SQL and Python to support business requirements and improve system performance.

Design, develop, and maintain database structures, queries, and data workflows, working independently or in coordination with database and development teams.

Develop and maintain automation scripts and scheduled data workflows, troubleshoot application and integration issues, and support reliable data processing.

Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, provide development expertise, test application functionality, and maintain software quality and performance.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

6–9 years of experience in SQL development, database design, application development, and data processing.

Intermediate-level experience with Python, Unix scripting, and Apache Airflow, including scripting, workflow automation, and data pipeline development.

Technical Skills:

SQL, Python, Unix Scripting, Apache Airflow, Database Development, Data Processing, Data Pipelines, Cloud Platforms, Snowflake, Application Troubleshooting

Business / Domain Skills:

Experience supporting enterprise data environments involving database applications, business data processing, data integration, and operational reporting workflows.

Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting business operations.

Experience supporting automated data workflows, scheduled processing, data validation, and reliable movement of information across enterprise systems.

Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, database teams, and technical teams to translate requirements into maintainable application and data-processing solutions.

Communication:

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation:

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Travel Required

Quarterly travel for PI Planning, typically Tuesday through Thursday. Additional ad hoc travel may be required approximately once per month, with flexibility.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), or Microsoft Azure.

Exposure to Snowflake and cloud-based data warehousing or enterprise data platforms.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
