Operations Analyst

Leverton Search is partnering with a high-performing boutique investment firm, specialising in equities and alternatives, to appoint an ambitious Investment Operations professional.

The firm is known for strong performance and an innovative product offering, with a collaborative, flat structure. The role spans Investment Operations, with exposure across Fund Accounting and Valuations.

What you'll be responsible for:

1. Overseeing NAV production, reconciliations, cash and position controls, and investor reporting
2. Managing the pre and post trade life cycle, including confirmations, settlements and corporate actions across global equities
3. Investigating breaks and operational issues, and strengthening controls across the platform
4. Managing outsourcing and oversight relationships with external providers, supporting fund activity, investor deliverables and fund launches
5. Partnering with front office teams on day-to-day operational delivery
6. Playing a central role in an ongoing systems transformation, shaping processes and driving operational efficiency

We're looking for someone who offers:

1. Strong investment operations experience within asset management
2. Exposure to equities and/or alternative asset classes
3. A solid understanding of valuations, NAV processes and fund accounting principles
4. Experience across reconciliations, settlements and corporate actions in a global equities environment
5. Strong Excel skills, including VBA or macros
6. Experience with Indata, Enfusion or other PMS/OMS systems

This will suit someone who wants broad exposure across middle and back office within a lean, high-impact team where the work is visible.
