Job Description
This is primarily a production support + SSIS/ETL role rather than a pure development position.
Must-have skills:
- Strong SSIS / SQL Server Integration Services
- Strong SQL Server / ETL experience
- Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting for automation
- Production support for data platforms
- Monitoring/alerting: Azure Monitor, Grafana, etc.
- Incident management and ticketing systems
- Root-cause analysis and troubleshooting
- Strong communication/documentation
Key responsibilities:
- 247/round-the-clock production support for SSIS jobs and packages
- Monitor ETL/data workflows and troubleshoot failures
- Perform RCA and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Work with Development and DevOps teams on fixes/deployments
- Maintain runbooks, support documentation, and incident logs
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Meet SLAs and operational standards
