Contract: 12 month Fixed Term contract

Our machines will be capable of solving problems until now considered impossible, with applications ranging across a broad range of industries including healthcare, materials and aerospace.
We're looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. Based in Haywards Heath, you'll partner closely with hiring managers to deliver high-quality recruitment across a range of roles, helping us attract and hire exceptional talent.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Partner with hiring managers to deliver full-cycle recruitment across technical roles
- Develop sourcing strategies to identify and attract exceptional talent in competitive markets
- Manage recruitment processes end-to-end, including briefing, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding
- Build strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Provide market insights and hiring recommendations to stakeholders
- Ensure every candidate has an outstanding experience with Universal Quantum, regardless of outcome
- Contribute to hiring activities across multiple international locations
The 3 Most Critical Attributes
- Strong track record of hiring for complex technical roles, ideally within semiconductors, ASICs, chip design, or electronics hardware.
- Excellent stakeholder management and partnership skills, with the ability to effectively advise hiring managers
- Proactive and resourceful approach to sourcing and solving recruitment challenges
Must-have Skills
- 4+ years of recruitment experience, either in-house or agency
- Experience hiring technical, engineering, scientific, or other specialist talent
- Demonstrable experience managing recruitment processes from attraction through to offer
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or technology-focused environment
- Strong sourcing and candidate engagement capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and candidates from diverse backgrounds
- Experience using modern recruitment technology, including Applicant Tracking Systems and collaboration tools
Nice-to-have Skills
- Experience recruiting across international markets
- Ability to balance strategic workforce planning with hands-on recruitment delivery
