Recruiter (12 month FTC)

Contract: 12 month Fixed Term contract

Our machines will be capable of solving problems until now considered impossible, with applications ranging across a broad range of industries including healthcare, materials and aerospace.

We're looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. Based in Haywards Heath, you'll partner closely with hiring managers to deliver high-quality recruitment across a range of roles, helping us attract and hire exceptional talent.

What You’ll Accomplish

• Partner with hiring managers to deliver full-cycle recruitment across technical roles
• Develop sourcing strategies to identify and attract exceptional talent in competitive markets
• Manage recruitment processes end-to-end, including briefing, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding
• Build strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
• Provide market insights and hiring recommendations to stakeholders
• Ensure every candidate has an outstanding experience with Universal Quantum, regardless of outcome
• Contribute to hiring activities across multiple international locations

 The 3 Most Critical Attributes

1. Strong track record of hiring for complex technical roles, ideally within semiconductors, ASICs, chip design, or electronics hardware.
2. Excellent stakeholder management and partnership skills, with the ability to effectively advise hiring managers
3. Proactive and resourceful approach to sourcing and solving recruitment challenges

Must-have Skills

• 4+ years of recruitment experience, either in-house or agency
• Experience hiring technical, engineering, scientific, or other specialist talent
• Demonstrable experience managing recruitment processes from attraction through to offer
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or technology-focused environment
• Strong sourcing and candidate engagement capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and candidates from diverse backgrounds
• Experience using modern recruitment technology, including Applicant Tracking Systems and collaboration tools

Nice-to-have Skills

• Experience recruiting across international markets
• Ability to balance strategic workforce planning with hands-on recruitment delivery
